PD@ZIF-8@PPy/PVA混合基质膜渗透汽化乙醇脱水研究

摘要:
 渗透汽化(PV)膜分离技术具有能耗低、效率高、操作简单、不受气-液平衡限制等优点,被广泛应用于生物燃料分离领域。高性能膜材料是该过程能否实现高效分离的关键。依据课题组前期采用聚吡咯(PPy)纳米管外生长ZIF-8颗粒形成连续珍珠项链状(ZIF-8@PPy)结构的工作,采用多巴胺对ZIF-8@PPy进行亲水改性制备得到复合材料PD@ZIF-8@PPy,将其引入到聚乙烯醇(PVA)中制备混合基质膜(MMMs),用于渗透汽化乙醇脱水。在40 ℃下,分离质量分数为90%的乙醇水溶液时,所制膜的分离因子可达582(纯PVA膜的3倍),总通量为278 g/(m2?h)(纯PVA膜的1.8倍),长时稳定性良好。所制PD@ZIF-8@PPy/PVA MMMs在燃料乙醇生产方面具有良好的应用前景。
 Pervaporation (PV) membrane separation technology has been widely used in the field of biofuel separation owing to the advantages of low energy consumption, high efficiency, simple operation, and no limit to gas-liquid equilibrium. High-performance membrane materials are the key to the efficient separation of PV process. According to the previous work of our group, a continuous pearl necklace (ZIF-8@PPy) structure was constructed by growing ZIF-8 particles on polypyrrole (PPy) nanotubes. In this paper, the hydrophilic modification of ZIF-8@PPy was performed by using dopamine to prepare the composite material PD@ZIF-8@PPy. And then, the PD@ZIF-8@PPy was introduced into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to prepare mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) for ethanol dehydration via pervaporation. For the separation of 90% ethanol aqueous solution at 40 ℃, the separation factor of the prepared membrane could reach 582 (3 times that of pure PVA membrane), the total flux was 278 g/(m2?h) (1.8 times that of pure PVA membrane). Moreover, the resultant membrane presented good long-term stability. The as-prepared PD@ZIF-8@PPy/PVA MMMs have good application prospect in fuel ethanol production.
